Wcześniej klub nosił nazwy Nakivubo Boys i Nakivubo Villa.

SC Villa to ugandyjski klub piłkarski z siedzibą w Kampali, stolicy kraju. Został założony w 1960 roku w dzielnicy Villa Park, której nazwę przyjął. Jest jednym z najbardziej utytułowanych klubów w Ugandzie, zdobywając 16 tytułów mistrzowskich kraju, 9 krajowych pucharów i 10 superpucharów. Klub znany jest również z występów w afrykańskich rozgrywkach klubowych, w tym w Lidze Mistrzów CAF i Pucharze Konfederacji CAF. SC Villa posiada około 250 tysięcy kibiców, co czyni ją jednym z najbardziej popularnych klubów piłkarskich w Ugandzie.
