Dreams Football Club is a football club based in the Greater Accra Region. The club is competing in the Ghanaian Premier League.

History

The club was formed in 2009 and was promoted to the second level of the Ghanaian soccer league system in 2014.

The club operates a first team, popularly called Stage 1 and a youth team called Stage 2. Players of Stage 1 are considered first team members and compete in the Ghana Premier League. Stage 1 is managed by former Asante Kotoko trainer and national U20 team coach Abdul Karim Zito.

Dreams FC sealed their qualification to the 2015–2016 Ghana Premier League season for the first time ever in their history. In December 2016, the club was demoted from the Ghana Premier League due to an anomaly with the registration of a player. The decision was taken by the Ghana Football Association's Disciplinary Committee.

Ghanańska drużyna piłkarska "Dreams" została założona w 2009 roku i ma siedzibę w Dawu. Klub występuje obecnie w Ghana Premier League, najwyższej klasie rozgrywek ligowych w kraju. Właścicielem klubu jest Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, były prezes GHAFA (Ghana Football Association).

Dreams FC znani są z rozwoju młodych talentów i mają silną akademię młodzieżową. Klub wyprodukował kilku znanych graczy, którzy grali w reprezentacji Ghany, w tym Yaw Yeboah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku i Diawusie Taylor.

Stadionem domowym Dreams FC jest Dawu Park, który ma pojemność 2000 miejsc. Klub ma oddaną grupę kibiców, którzy nazywają siebie "Still Believe".

Trenerem Dreams FC jest Ignatius Osei-Fosu, który jest w klubie od 2021 roku. Pod jego wodzą Dreams FC zajęło 9. miejsce w Ghana Premier League w sezonie 2021/22.

Największym sukcesem Dreams FC było zdobycie Pucharu F.A. Ghany w 2021 roku. Wygrali finał z Ashanti Gold SC 2-0, zdobywając swoje pierwsze trofeum w historii klubu.
