Hwaseong FC (Korean: 화성 FC) is a South Korean semi-professional football club based in Hwaseong, South Korea. They currently play in the K3 League, the third tier of the South Korean football club.

History

Founding

The club was founded on 23 January 2013.

Hwaseong FC to południowokoreański klub piłkarski z siedzibą w mieście Hwaseong w prowincji Gyeonggi. Klub został założony w 2006 roku i obecnie gra w K3 League, trzeciej lidze w systemie ligowym Korei Południowej.

Stadionem domowym Hwaseong FC jest Hwaseong Stadium, który może pomieścić 35 000 widzów. Klub ma duże grono kibiców, znanych jako "Hwaseong Ultras".

Największym sukcesem Hwaseong FC było zdobycie Pucharu Korei Południowej w 2010 roku. Klub pokonał w finale Busan IPark 2:1 i zapewnił sobie pierwsze trofeum w swojej historii.

Wśród znanych piłkarzy, którzy grali w Hwaseong FC, są Lee Chung-yong, zawodnik reprezentacji Korei Południowej, oraz Kim Young-gwon, obecny piłkarz klubu K-League Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.

Trenerem Hwaseong FC jest obecnie Kim Hyun-jun, który wcześniej trenował kluby takie jak Suwon FC i Goyang Zaicro FC.
