Wikipedia - Syracuse Orange women's basketball
The Syracuse Orange women's basketball program is an intercollegiate women's basketball team representing Syracuse University. The program is classified in the NCAA's Division I, and the team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Orange play their home basketball games at the Carrier Dome in the University Hill neighborhood of Syracuse, New York. The team is coached by Felisha Legette-Jack.

Basketball started at Syracuse in 1898, playing against Hamilton Ontario YMCA. Varsity team was fielded in 1971.[]
Drużyna koszykówki USA "Syracuse - Kobiety" jest jednym z najlepszych zespołów koszykówki kobiet w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Drużyna została założona w 1972 roku i od tego czasu zdobyła 11 mistrzostw NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament. Syracuse Orangewomen są również jednym z najbardziej utytułowanych programów w historii koszykówki kobiet NCAA. Zawodniczki zespołu były wybierane do drużyny All-American 32 razy, a 15 z nich trafiło do żeńskiego Hall of Fame koszykówki.
