Wikipedia - National Premier Leagues Queensland

National Premier Leagues Queensland (w skrócie NPL Queensland) – piłkarskie rozgrywki na najwyższym szczeblu w stanie Queensland. Organizowane i zarządzane przez federacje stanową Football Queensland. Założone w 1979 roku pod nazwą Queensland State League. W latach 1983 – 2007 rozgrywki nie były organizowane. Od 2008 roku ponownie rozgrywane. W 2013 roku Queensland State League weszła w skład National Premier Leagues, zmieniając tym sam nazwę na National Premier Leagues Queensland.

Australia - NPL - Queensland jest regionalną ligą piłkarską w Australii dla stanu Queensland. Jest to druga najwyższa liga w stanie, zaraz po National Premier Leagues Queensland. Liga składa się z 12 drużyn, które grają ze sobą w rundzie zasadniczej w systemie każdy z każdym po dwa razy. Cztery najlepsze drużyny awansują do finałów, gdzie grają w systemie pucharowym o mistrzostwo ligi. Zwycięzca ligi awansuje do National Premier Leagues Finals Series, gdzie walczy o awans do najwyższej ligi w Australii, A-League.
